Bug Fixing Time!

Hey guys!
We have a lot of bugs and glitches cropping up and I think it's about time we sort through them and get them all fixed up. A bug is basically ANYTHING ingame, on the website or anywhere else that doesn't quite fit, is annoying, or outright doesn't work. If you see anything like this please create a new issue report on Mantis - our bug tracking system - and I'll work my way through the issues and get them all fixed up.
Please submit as many as you can find. If I don't know about it I cannot fix it =/.
I am willing to give (B) level admin (provided they pass the admin test) to the individual who submits the most bugs so make sure to create an account on Mantis when you submit otherwise it will go as anonymous and won't count!
Second we received over $250 in donations for last month which is AWSOME! Thanks guys for all your help. The more we can save up the better we will be. However this month is over half way through and we need another $150 to get to where we should be. I know it's a lot of money just remember it will be $200/month for 5 months until we catch up on the backpay then it will be a more reasonable $100/month. We just need to get over this hump. So please donate $10 or $20 and it will be a great help.
Also please keep in mind anyone who donates can received (B) as a reward for their donations. If you have donated please complete the admin test and use your paypal email as the email for the admin test so I can match them up and confirm you have donated. I know we had a lot of donations before and no one seemed to claim admin. You can still claim that if you wish. Just remember you MUST pass the admin test. The donation is not enough.

Early Morning Admin Wanted

We are looking for an early morning administrator and are willing to give them free admin in return for them keeping an eye on the server during periods of which most admin are offline. The time periods we are looking for are between 4:00am and 11:00am. You do not have to be playing the game but you need to be on during this time consistantly so players can contact you in the event of a problem. If you overlap these time periods by at least 4 hours that is acceptable.

Please do NOT contact me and ask to become admin unless you overlap this time. We are only looking for people who are within this time period. Also please keep in mind unless you donate we will not promote you past the (G) admin level. You need to contribute more than just your time to get any higher. I will check Psychostats to verify the times you play so please don't stretch the truth. If you need to stretch the truth then you are not what I'm looking for. Also please keep in mind you still need to pass the admin test if you are accepted so be prepared for this.
New Regular Level

So you have been playing on Vir's Pub for quite some time and cannot afford to donate but you still want some level of protection from admin abuse and accidental TK. At Vir's Pub we value our regulars highly and believe that we need to try our best to ensure they receive top level support from our admins. So we have created the (R) level on our server.
The (R) level is not really an admin level, however it grants the user protection from lower, less experienced administrators as well as accidental team killings. However we expect our regulars to behave a notch above your average player in return for this special level. With power comes responsibility so we are not simply going to give this away without a little bit of training to ensure that the regular knows exactly what to do with their extra abilities.

Promotions Galore!!!

I have gone through the admin list and have promoted more than half our admins (we were long overdue for a lot of promotions). I'd like to mention the 2 most important promotions - our two new XA administrators.
A big round of applause goes to:
Fuzion - He has been playing on the server since forever and was inline with BigV to get XA last time around. He lost out based on time before, but this time he's not getting passed up! He's an excellent admin - very calm and fair with no complaints that I can remember. Excellent admin and I'm glad to have him play on my server.
Shootymcstabbyface - I couldn't decide between Fuzion and Shooty so I said what the heck - who cares about limits on number of admins. I want them both as top dawgs! Shooty has also been a fixture on the server since the early days. Excellent admin who is very friendly and very fair. An amazing admin! Congrats shooty!
We also have new UA's, A's and G's! I tried to promote based on how often I saw you on the server (people who were very rarely there may have been passed up - I'm sorry!!!) and how long you have been admin. If anyone feels like they deserve more please come talk to me. Maybe you are just playing on hours when I'm not watching the server! Please I don't want anyone to feel like they got screwed.
New Internet Connection

The ISP which hosts our server (Everus Communications - www.everus.ca) has changed internet providers today. This means pings are going to change, some may get better, some may only change a tiny bit, others may change drastically. This change is permanent and there is not much I can do to fix your pings if they skyrocket. It also means our pings may increase for everyone and it may kill the server as well. On the bright side this means the connection I am on is much less congested and hopefully will result in better registry. Only time will tell. Lets hope for the best.
If you are unable to connect to the server at all let me know, this may be because of a routing issue and I will have to contact my provider to get them to correct the internet routes.
